I hope that the information contained in these pages will introduce visitors to who we are and give insight into some of the beliefs we hold dear. I also hope the information shared here will help keep our members and friends informed and up-to-date with the activities and direction of our church.
At FSBC you will experience a warm welcome, people from diverse backgrounds, pilgrims on a spiritual journey, plain people in need of hugs and we always welcome children, even noisy ones. (For such were some of you). We believe in the fellowship of the congregation as well as in the value and uniqueness of the individual. We strive for a spirit of love and offer a promise of prayer and compassion to all whose paths we cross. We aspire to be a fellowship of concerned and caring people. We believe that faith in Jesus Christ is not merely an act of religion but that it leads one to a personal relationship, a daily walk with the very Son of God. For it is through such a personal relationship that the lost may find Jesus, sinners will find forgiveness, the troubled experience real peace, the lonely find love, and seekers find joy and happiness beyond their wildest expectations.
We dress comfortably and casual, smile while we sing, ask for prayer and support from each other and desire to be an encouragement to all whose paths we cross. We're not a perfect group of people but we invite you to walk this path with us as we seek to walk in the steps of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. |
